Laura S\u00e1nchez<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ejecuci\u00f3n:<\/strong> 2017-2020<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los avances tecnol\u00f3gicos de los sistemas de c\u00f3mputo paralelo y distribuido permiten el desarrollo de aplicaciones antes impensadas. Proponemos desarrollar metodolog\u00edas, modelos y soluciones inform\u00e1ticas para colaborar en la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas que tengan una alta demanda computacional e impacto social. Se definen tres ejes de investigaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1- Aplicaciones para la salud. En las salas de cuidados intensivos de los centros de salud, muchos sensores de distinto equipamiento m\u00e9dico est\u00e1n conectados a los pacientes para medir datos fisiol\u00f3gicos de alta frecuencia. La computaci\u00f3n paralela puede hacer viable el desarrollo de un sistema capaz de procesar todos los datos fisiol\u00f3gicos de los pacientes, en tiempo real, para detectar patolog\u00edas de forma temprana bas\u00e1ndose en m\u00faltiples par\u00e1metros fisiol\u00f3gicos de distintos aparatos m\u00e9dicos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2- Aplicaciones de inform\u00e1tica forense. Debido al sostenido aumento del volumen de datos digital, muchas tareas periciales (como la detecci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes pornogr\u00e1ficas) involucran un elevado tiempo de procesamiento. Esto lleva a un crecimiento excesivo de la lista de espera de pericias en tr\u00e1mite. La computaci\u00f3n paralela puede hacer viable el desarrollo de software especial que disminuya los tiempos de procesamiento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3- Consumo energ\u00e9tico de los sistemas de c\u00f3mputo paralelo. Mientras el rendimiento de los sistemas de c\u00f3mputo de altas prestaciones contin\u00faa aumentando, el problema del consumo energ\u00e9tico sigue creciendo debido al mayor n\u00famero de componentes del sistemas.
